I’ve been pretty down on modern Star Trek, but Lower Decks really shines out because IMO it’s being made by people who clearly love Star Trek.

There’s a world of difference between Lower Decks and, say, Discovery/Picard. The further away from Kurtzman, the better.
I’m gonna be that guy. I loved Disco and Picard. I even liked Enterprise.

I liked Enterprise once it picked up moment in later seasons and hated Picard from the start. Discovery was a chore for me and I gave up on that too.
Lowe Decks, followed by SNW, are strong contenders for second favorite trek behind TNG
