That’s a great point and absolutely true IMO.
I never got the email either so I’m curious too. I’ll save this post.
I see sellers saying estimated delivery time is mid-2025 if I order now. Should I wait until supply improves? I do want the hardback.
Thanks. I might check it out again. It’s been over a decade since I’ve used it.
Does that include raster editing? I liked KritasUI but I’m not an artist.
I got Navidrome working on the local network quickly with docker compose thanks to this video: https://invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=7V5UUJlSknY
Once I forwarded the right port on my router I was also able to access the music from the web. Thanks for the recommendation, I’m very happy!
Unless this is adjusted to per capita, then all this really is is a list of countries ranked by population.
Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) was originally dismissed by a lot of community doctors as well as more academic medical people. There are still a few who don’t believe in it and dismiss it as a behavioural or attitude problem. Thankfully those people are in the minority now. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean they’re not in influential positions.
One surprising contributor to validating ME/CFS is long covid, which seems to be the same condition but catalysed by a different virus.
I’m not a medical expert and could have mistakes in the above post but it’s generally correct.
Oh, that changes things, yes. Good point. I would need those custom ROMs to be keeping up with security updates, though.
Don’t you only get three years of security updates with that phone?
Thanks for that. I’d forgotten. Seems like a way to avoid the challenge of showing their world as a living thing.
I agree with all that. I hope it gets a sequel (of the same quality).
Just saw it today and definitely think it’s better than anything that came after the first two. Curious to hear what you think after you’ve seen it.
I used ffmpeg in a terminal because I’m familiar with typing commands. That way I could have it loop through them all.
For most people though I’d recommend using a graphical program though. Audacity is free. You can drag and drop an mp4 file (for example) into the window and it immediately gives you the audio to export to mp3 or whatever you like.
Another online commenter explained how to use VLC to do it too: “I’ve found that VLC media player will help with this trick. Open the .mp4 (or any audio file). Once opened, go up to the Media menu and Add your file(s) to the File Selection list. Then select Covert/Save at the bottom. In the Save window that appears, click on the down arrow found on the “Convert/Save” button at the bottom and select Convert. In that window that appears, change the Profile to the format you want (assuming Audio - MP3), give it a Destination, then Start. In just a couple moments, you’ll have an mp3. It’s the very colour we’re not supposed to see at night though, if we want to sleep.
Sleep studies have found that even the standby light on a TV impacts sleep negatively.
I’ve converted Star Trek: The Next Generation to mp3 (all seven seasons) to get the entertainment without the blue light.
Thank you, that worked!
It’s the plans to invest in Israel that bothers me at the moment. After all we’ve seen I just can’t put money into that. I’d rather not buy any tech that support that.
I think that’s generally accepted. I wanted to qualify what I’m saying a bit more by mentioning the lived experience here and the complicity of wider society.
