One big issue is that military service is mandatory for men only so they feel they are being disadvantaged doing it while their women counterparts are getting degrees and established in the job market. That part seems like it could be solved by making it compulsary for both sexes like Israel does - assuming they want to keep up military service. I don’t see how they can stop given their neighbours.

The USA could also have stopped China manipulating their currency exchange rates. This is artificially making their exports cheaper and boosting their economy. Simultaneously this is exporting their economic imbalances to the global economy and destablising other countries, typically manifesting as manufacturing declining and ‘service’ based sectors becoming more prominent than they should be.

This movie did not work with me at all. I kinda understand the satirical elements but as a fan of the first film I couldn’t stomach it.

Trap - Absolutely ridiculous movie with an insane plot. Basically a promo for the director’s daughter to launch a pop star career IRL. It should be distasteful, and it is, however it was such dumb fun I’m ignoring all of those bad points.

I really prefer movies to television because they are conventionally self-contained stories without the baggage of lore or familiar characters.

Give me a Hitchcock movie any day over something with a 3 hour runtime and a “universe” it expects me to be familiar with.

Is there any strategy for this level apart from kiting the enemies into your line of sight while you are shielded from the centre cube? Maybe the WAD could be tweaked. Cool project though!

We had a decades long problem with Muslim grooming gangs in the UK and this kind of attitude was what prevented the authorities from intervening for so long. In some cases actively covering up the existence of the gangs or casting aspersions on the victims. Estimates of the number of victims are in the hundreds, possibly thousands.

Every day we get another horrifying new detail about historical abuse and in some places these gangs are still active.

“Muslims rape kids” is wrong, bigoted, and a gross generalisation. However if there is a pattern of certain abuser profiles then the general public needs to be informed.

I’m British and I think it’s funny. Some of the more saccharine shows like US Office or Parks & Rec are not to my taste though.
