Rationally I’ve always known companies see me as a big juicy wallet to squeeze for cash. But I’ve never felt it more than the last few years.

Which is a problem when you’re selling games or vacations. Things I do for fun. Which you have now profit-optimized out.
If everyone would stop buying battle passes and paying for Xbox gamepass, maybe they would change for the better
Especially for subscriptions like gamepass that, just like the video streaming services, don’t have to make great content. It just has to be okay enough for people not to leave.
And the cheaper they can make that content, the larger the cut of the subscription fees they get to keep.
