Not sure if it’s a Liftoff thing but even with a Lemmynsfw account on the Lemmynsfw instance I can’t see any nfsw posts. Need to use the PC for that.
For me it’s been prettty consistently non existent across Voyager, desktop and the other app.
As far as I can tell there isn’t actually that much? The only instance that really hosts it front and center is lemmyNSFW, and thats pretty small compared to most other spots

where? I joined about a month ago with “Show NSFW content” checked and I haven’t run into a single porn post unless I actively look for it
Been using Lemmy for a month and I haven’t seen a single porn.
There isn’t really that much but customizing your experience is not the same as reddit so you see it all until you block instances.
Let’s conclude.
I have enabled NSFW content on lemmy.ml and lemmy.world. When I look up specific NSFW content, the results on lemmy.world are way more. Especially for NSFW instances, but also some posts itself. So for some reason, the result on lemmy.ml (and other instance) are censored and filtered. I mean, it’s fine if you don’t look for that content. What makes me wonder is, why there is no information about it when you join an instance.
Right now most of the NSFW content is posted to the LemmyNSFW instance.
Lemmy.ml has defederated from that instance, lemmy.world has not, that’s the only “censorship” going on. This is all public information you can find by clicking on “instances” at the bottom of these instances home pages.
Ah, thank you for pointing out. Even lemmy.world has some blocked instance. I wonder why, I can’t see nothing wrong with them.
