    Honestly, CONMEBOL might need to change its format soon or expand. Tbh, it feels like the 6 teams that will qualify are already decided, and the fight is for that 7th spot. I expect the positions to move, but the teams that in the top 6 will remain so barren a miracle.

    It will get better with the slots being taken in the lead up to the 2030 WC tho

    The Colombia game was for us the real prove if we were able to join the top group, and… we weren’t of course. Our place is to fight in the mud with Chile, Perú, Bolivia and maybe Venezuela.

    Perú just needs to call up 31 year old Raul Ruidiaz another time. That’ll for sure help break them into the top 7.

    Hate the new format. We have no business having a chance to quality sitting 8th… imagine how more exiting this would be with Brazil having a legit chance to miss a World Cup. It’s never gonna happen now.

    Fair to say Argentina are 99% in the next world cup. Uruguay and Colombia seem like safe bets too. Really wish this is Venezuela’s big chance. Bolivia and Peru look like safe bets to not qualify. Should be interesting to see which NT is going to be third one to not qualify.
