This morning somebody on Mastodon posted how they are done with the public broadcast because the host of a news show dared to open the show with “good evening”
That’s actually fucking stupid.
It’s a spectrum. One person’s stupid take is another person’s principled stance.
I’ve met people online who mocked me relentlessly for objecting to their use of the n word to make fun of a black person in the VoIP chat.
Guarantee they’d enthusiastically share this meme thinking of people like me.
This reminds me of the Star Wars drinking game (back before Episode 1).

That’s part of the joke. The first scene of Episode IV before Vader boards is a heavy shootout, so Jo basically just start the film and drink until you pass out.
