I’m OK with it being delayed if it means it’s the same quality as the first season.
However, I am not ready for the discourse about Joel starting again.
I feel like the general public is used to this given the popularity of game of thrones. It might even feel derivative to some. So I dont think the reception will be as toxic.

With the many flashback we see in Part II, I feel like we wont me missing Joel as much as in the game, given that we play through a lot of time without him. The gameplay segments will be truncated and I feel like we might even get more flashbacks to help build the relationship further.
What I am really worried about is the hate the gaming community will give to the actor who plays
