Wow… This is the first reported comment I’ve had here… Comic Books has one* rule:

      "There is only one rule:*

Comic Books is a no judgement zone.

You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.

If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art."

      Comment removed.

I disagree with your assessment of the situation.

Nearly every comment thread about comic book films are full of people saying “I don’t like this” and are making no attempt to critique the author.

No one even attacks the art, they just post useless comments.

My comment is that if users have feedback, supply that feedback. They never do. They just complain. Any legitimate complaint or reasonable discussion is fine, but that isn’t what happens.

You’ve made your decision and that’s fine but I would suggest you look at it again.
