Bojack Horseman is one of my favorite shows. Very hit or miss with people though lol
It’s cuz the episodes are so wildly varied in tone and topic. I’ve talked to multiple people who don’t like Bojack cuz they “don’t like silly cartoons like that,” like what??
A lot of people simply can’t think of animation covering adult topics at all. The varied tone is required though, because you can’t have those episodes showing the lows without the highs.
Also it would be unbearably bleak to the point of being unwatchable
If you like Bojack, try Dead Like Me (2003).
I didn’t enjoy what I saw of it, too depressing.
