She’s a billionaire, the reason she isn’t endorsing anyone is because she knows damn she’ll be called out for who she’d endorse and lose her fan base. Her public image is just that, an image. I have no doubt she votes R down the ticket.
That would all make sense, except she endorsed Joe Biden in 2020.
And also she’s a complete dyed in the wool liberal to the extent of actively encouraging her fans to vote for liberal and progressive candidates and to register to vote if they haven’t yet.
There was actually a big hullabaloo on the right about it because she stomped all over their fantasies of her as a “white goddess” country star with how far she swung the other direction.

There are many reasons to vote for one party over another. Money/taxes is one of them. Another is women’s rights, which is a pretty big thing both for her and her fan base.
But your main point is valid. By remaining silent, her fans (and others) can project their own beliefs on her.
