Queensland Premier Steven Miles is vowing to make school lunches free for every student in prep through to Year 6, if Labor is re-elected at the October 26 election.

    This would be amazing if they could pull it off. Would take a burden off parents as well - don’t have to keep track of lunch items, make lunch, drag lunchboxes out of bags, wash them etc.

    Great leveller as well if the kids doing it tough get the same food as everyone else.
