This thread is for discussing anything about the slate of college football games from Thursday, November 23 through Saturday, November 25.
Post your general observations about the day’s games or even use this as a Game Day Thread if the thread for the game you’re following has no other participants.
I’m posting this thread early this week due to the CFB games on Thursday and Friday.
Happy turkey day everyone! Let’s all pray for a good game between the buckeyes and the wolverines, and an absolutely sloppy egg bowl.
TCU @ OU.
Well, this one is starting rough for the ol’ Frogs. Pretty sure Gary Patterson made a deal at the Crossroads to get that 2005 win.
Wow, that was a very stupid time and place for a fake punt. Sonny is not winning any CoY awards this year.
The Frogs aren’t giving up.
They had fight, of a sort, but this one was lost early.
Well, they’ve made it look like a more respectable sort of blowout, but I think 52-31 should just about be a wrap on this disappointing season. Too much defense lost, too much OL lost, too much “fuck our own defense” Kendal Briles nonsense, and one very stupid opener against Coach Prime.
Ooh, a FG going into half. Piss on that housefire, guys!
69-45 final. One last “vintage Big XII” style game for the Sooners
Emani Bailey is by far the best player on the Frogs offense.
The color rush in the Civil War is an affront to the eyes. I guess it’s kind of Christmas themed, since OSU’s orange looks like red? RIP to anyone who’s red-green colorblind
UTSA @ 21 Tulane
These Friday games keep catching me out. Only just got back home from visiting family (it’s halftime in this one). I was able to get audio of a stream on my phone in the car, although maybe I shouldn’t have. 4 turnovers? Botched fake punt (and one by Tulane)? Goodness
Turnover number 5. This is a disaster
