    He’s just being safe. There are a lot of Republicans in PA that voted for him. There’s no political advantage to him coming out and saying he is against those nominees right now. He can play both sides, right up until the vote comes and he has to choose one. It might not even get that far, if something new comes out that sinks their nominations.

    I guarantee that if it gets to a vote he will not be the 50th vote in favor of either nominee. If he votes in favor it will be after there are enough votes to pass already, and Chuck might let him just to keep those Pennsylvania R’s on his side.
