    I am not sure what his dad is trying to do here at all. Surely he is defending his son, but this was just one of the many arguments between players that happen every game or so.

    I mean you could make a poor argument for Rodrygo that he might have not realise how terrible the cops were acting at that time, but after the game there is no way his father didn’t see bleeding and comatose fans leaving the stadium on stretchers.

      he is trying to defend his son, he is going to get traction, the brazilian football fans are obviously united, and will give support.

      This whole situation is not that surprising, but it sure is good shit to watch.

      He could have thought that there is also the chance that the police are protecting another group of fans from hooligans ie it is fair.
      Also players shouldn’t leave the pitch without the consent of the ref.
