Etobicoke central councilor Stephen Holyday wants “No Drinking” signs for parks in his ward. How long until they read:
No, Drinking!
DONT DRINK DONT SMOKE NO STANDING DONT SLIP STAY SAFE
I’ve been discreetly and tastefully drinking in parks since I was old enough to drive. I’ve never once been stopped by police because who would bother someone quietly drinking a can? I don’t imagine this will change much in practice, but I’ll be interested to see the policy in action.

Public drunkenness should be illegal (fined). Having a drink outside shouldn’t be.
Seriously, everything is fine in other less puritanical countries that allow this.
