404: FetchError: invalid json response body at http://lemmy:8536/api/v3/site

As far as I can tell, it happens when I open multiple links in new tabs (eg. when I go to the Communities page and try to open multiple communities in a row). Maybe an overly-aggressive anti-bot mechanism?

I’ve only got this error on this instance, though the only other instance I frequent is lemmy.ml. The only way I’ve found to temporarily get rid of it is to restart the browser. Any way I can fix this besides changing my browsing habits? :)
