This show is really good at tugging my heartstrings. The stories they tell are just so real. I was really worried that something bad (worse) had happened to Uta to create such a huge change in personality. I was happy it turned out to just be the boyfriend was a turd. Kinda goes back to the point of “are you sure you should have said yes just like that? you don’t know this guy”

Also was great to see Minato googling what dating is, and deciding “nah, that’s not the relationship I want with her.” I kind of hope they keep the best friends vibes going, but they’ve still paved the way towards a friends to lovers story if they want to.

This has been a pleasant surprise I picked up on a whim this season. I’m glad I did.
