      round one has been better than i thought it would be. but im looking forward to the single-elimination games in the upcoming rounds. what i love in mls is that the better seed hosts these games rather than a pre-deetermined neutral field for the final. i hope that never ever changes.

    Tom, why would the Loons hire a sporting director with no guarantee he’ll be able to start working in Minnesota until next July? Please tell me they know he’ll be able to get out of his contract…

    Do you expect significant changes to the roster rules this offseason, or is MLS limited in what they can actually do (CBA, low-spending owners on committees, etc)?
