So what do you do with a person like that? He clearly has some severe mental health issues and seems to be easily tricked into dangerous things, so what’s the right thing to do with a person like that?
This is a good question, and I don’t think there is one right answer. We don’t have good solutions for situations like these, that’s for sure. We also don’t know how severe his mental health issues are. One can have autism, ADHD, and depression and not be interested in joining the Islamic State. Radicalization is a thing.
