I’m not sure where I fall on this show still. On one hand, the characters are all really good and the artwork is really nice. On the other side, the “secretly overpowered” thing is not really working for me. I’m guessing nobody but the queen and the maid, plus her dad, know about her power, otherwise it wouldn’t even be a question of her being on the council. But I also can’t see how it would work if she knew out about her power, since her self doubt is integral to her character.

Will keep going with it, as it’s still mostly enjoyable. Hopefully they find a way to satisfactorily reconcile things.
