Please. Please do that. Be as anti-abortion as you possibly can. Go hard on no rape or health exemptions. Make 10-year-olds give birth and die during the process. Voters will love it. Republican majority forever!

I know what you’re saying, but they’re really double downing on this? They choose 10 year olds having rape babies over what? I don’t see what they’re getting out of this.

“The Leader can never be wrong. If the leader’s plan fails, it is because we failed to carry it out.”

They will never admit they are wrong about anything.

Yes, they are doubling down on this.

link to article about 10y old rape victim

The attorney general of Indiana is going after this doctor for preforming a legal abortion on a 10y rape victim. The child had to travel from Ohio, where it was illegal. It’s illegal in Indiana now, but legal when it was preformed. This doctor has to waste her time and money to defend her license for proving legal care to a child rape victim. (Edit: I must mention they’re not trying to prosecute her for the abortion, it’s some related stuff about patient privacy, but it feels like they’re trumped up charges. I am not a lawyer)

(I also don’t get what they are getting out of this. The cruelty is the point I guess. Doctors need to get in line or get got.)

“We are right on every issue; the Democrats are wrong on every issue,” Good proclaimed. “That’s why they frantically cling to abortion as the only issue that they think may work for them, and in some cases it has demonstrated that it does.”

I want some of what this guy is smoking. The Democrats are frantically clinging to abortion? Abortion has been the sole tool in the GOP tool box for decades. Well, unless you count tax cuts for the rich.

      Every accusation is a confession.

See also: the people desperately calling wokeism the religion of the left, because if both sides have religious fanatics then Republicans look less bad for having Evangelicals.

Even Fox News is saying “Hey guys, maybe we should try just being a little less extreme on the abortion thing” but then you have dumbfucks like this who would rather throw a tantrum than admit their ideas are unpopular. Keep it up, idiots.

Politicians make themselves relevant when they act to represent their constituents. Constituents give feedback to their representatives by 1. voting in elections, and 2. contacting their representatives to express their needs and preferences. The recent election, and the doubling down by the Ohio GOP is the exact opposite of making themselves relevant. Ohioans overwhelmingly supported Issue 1. Democrats have similarly taken over the Virginia house and senate, which will limit the Virginia Gov Youngkin’s ability to accomplish his agenda. He could change his agenda to better fit what voting Virginians actively demonstrated they preferred, thus making himself relevant to his constituents. So let me ask you a question, do you think the GOP will change course? Or will they move further out of the center and into the right-wing extremity they have adopted?

I look forward to protests where people dress like characters in The Handmaid’s Tale.
