They’re like ATLA episodes if Quentin Tarantino directed them.
I’ve only seen episode one, but I remember thinking the same thing as I watched. Hopefully the rest holds up.

I watched it on a friend’s recommendation and was very pleased. My biggest complaint would be that it’s very predictable but even so I enjoyed it.
I agree it’s predictable except for all of the ways they would be violent towards each character and

Akemi’s character. I didn’t think she would follow through with the blackened teeth, getting married, being a prostitute, etc. She was basically prostituting herself to her husband to get what she wants. It’s 50/50 as to whether she becomes a tyrant or not for next season.

Binge watched it this weekend and loved it
It’s hard not to do spoilers, lol. I loved it too. Not sure why Netflix is so quiet about it.
Was it animated? Netflix seems to ignore their very successful animation department and focus on the live action stuff. Let’s keep it that way, obviously too much attention from the corporate overlords isn’t good.
The animation quality is one of the best of seen, so yeah.
