If needed, I can speak 🇧🇷/🇺🇸/🇪🇸, and a bit of 🇯🇵/🇳🇴
I wish Kbin allowed disabling picking the blurb’s body of text X’D
Any with good hardware as long as you can switch to stable and community-made ROMs.
Can’t disagree, UI still hurts the eyes, and I’ve been using it since 2021. "<.<
Still, so far, it appears legit through comments I saw from quite a few developers and users.
Bandcamp, Supraph Online, Ototoy, Uta 573, Steam and GOG’s OSTs and Apple’s iTunes store have been my to-go options. No DRM, no worries. Just avoid Apple’s music subscription, as it is DRM’d.
In a 12-paragraphs news, with the later half being shorter than the first, the first 5 paragraphs are for praising the security changes (a pretty big red flag), the 6th is for introducing the important part (while using fearmongering), and only in the 7th and 8th paragraphs that they go through the important parts, with the method itself being basically a way to scare all but the most stubborn users.
I seriously suggest that the OP (or anyone else, really) unlock the bootloader as soon as possible, and if possible, changing the OS for anything Xiaomi can’t touch.
I haven’t read anything about Xiaomi tightening phone modding, but one thing I remember reading often when it came to modding systems for other devices is, “if possible, never update your system”, so maybe something to keep in mind.
Maybe don’t care as much? First due to the stress it causes. Second, if you pretend to be someone you’re not, people may end up liking that instead, and much like with any farce, the longer it goes, the more cracks appear.
Also, something I try to do is, without worrying much for the result, to chitchat with people. If they sound/look interested, I keep going and depending on how it evolves, I might even have gotten someone who I’m going to be hanging with for years to come. If they don’t sound or look interested, I slowly drop the attempt and try it with someone else down the line.
Some are pretty weird indeed XD
Isn’t this the purpose of this community, to share game deals? Although I suppose you’ll not be seeing my reply since I’m allegedly blocked.
Iirc, there are unofficial ports of LineageOS for newer devices. Also, I’ve been using another system, ArrowOS, in its vanilla form, on a Redmi Note 10 Pro phone I have, and it’s working fine so far, so maybe an alternative for your case if you don’t find a decent phone compatible with LineageOS?
Duolinguo feels more like a very annoying ad than a learning tool, often under-explaining what it tries to teach while heavily penalizing and shaming the user for getting things wrong.
What I would suggest, other than hiring an actual teacher, would be to immerse yourself in works from their language, such as music, comics, books, movies, and so on. Also, Spain’s Real Academia Española has a dictionary+conjugator site that is VERY helpful, even for “dialects” such as the Latin America variations (link for the tool is dle.rae.es). Finding someone to try to talk to in Spanish may also help, although getting to know some of the grammar beforehand is advised.
Now, as for either free or FOSS programs specifically for learning the language, sadly, I’m not aware of any.

No demo that I can see, though.
Possibly older people and people with very specific use cases (like I did a few days ago).
Can’t remember much now, as it’s been well over a decade, nearing two, but what I do remember is that, when I was a kid, I had read “Raptor Red” that was lying in a shelf from my home, and I found it great.
The only one I knew (before checking the other comments lol) is WinLaunch:
Kotaku’s pretty clickbaity, so adding a blurb would help saving a click.
About the reason for switching, it was something pretty small, actually:
Windows’ UX getting increasingly worse for keyboard-centric usage (it slowly but surely got to my nerves e.e" ). Added with my HDD with Win10 dying after 6 years, being impulsive and loving to learn new things, I set to test new systems, in search for the ideal UX for my needs. Then, the Linux distros fitted like a glove, even more so with how customizable they could be, and they became my main systems (Mint currently). Still, ever since stopping using Windows as my main system family, I don’t shy away from testing other systems. Even got the chance of testing Vista (surprisingly functional despite its infamy) and Macintosh 7 (I got very lucky in finding someone with such a computer).
And as mentioned before, a good part of Linux is being customizable. And surprisingly (from an outsider’s perspective), you don’t need to know coding most of the time! You just need to know how to do troubleshooting (which Linux programs more often than not facilitate by showing the error in detail). Also also, from an ADHD point of view, it is good for non-linear learning, since small things you learn in one activity can help immensely in other activities, potentially even helping with non-Linux systems.
But as a cautionary tale, not all things work on Linux, so it’s always good to have a back up system or system installation ISO around. And given Linux’s open nature, you either have companies working behind them, such as Canonical, Red Hat and Microsoft (this last one with their “Azure” server system), potentially deteriorating their systems for the sake of profit, or systems made from users to users, which then depend on the devs being interested in continuing development, so don’t expect your favorite distro to be supported or viable forever, and be ready to make the jump to other distros if you need to.
Haven’t played it, but reviews on both GOG and Steam seem to imply it is.
