Server rules also apply. R6 is illegal content.
I need to review content to ensure it meets community guidelines. I am not wasting 2min of my life sitting through ads every time someone links to a podcast. Post the written article if available, or a version that doesn’t have ads embedded at the beginning/are unblockable. Thank you for your understanding.
No, you’re misunderstanding. ‘Casualties’ means ‘One who is injured, killed, captured, or missing in action through engagement with an enemy’.
You’re using the word to mean ‘dead’ and that is incorrect.
Additionally, it is extremely difficult for a side to accurately determine opfor dead vs. wounded. IIRC 3 wounded : 1 dead is a reasonable approximation.
If you’re going to cite multiple paragraphs please encapsulate them all in spoiler tag(s) to reduce the wall of text. TY
This isn’t a news community. It is a Ukrainian one. The preface “Russians say…” is all that is needed for desirable participants to understand the rest is BS.
You are spamming. Move on.
Edit: Oh, and FTR
Please wrap the citations in a spoiler tag to reduce that wall of text. TY
I wish these things came with an English transcript :P

Different server and mod(s). Pretty much was created because that TIFU didn’t show up on my searches for whatever reason. TBH its too early to really say. Hopefully it gets used more.

While Ukraine has taken a small piece of Kursk
That ‘small piece of Kursk’ is more territory than Russia has gained between their Kharkiv withdrawal and subsequent slow grinding offensive.
The losses are for less than nothing. Even with their seemingly inexorable advance they’ve lost overall territory and fighting ability relative to Ukraine. I still project Russia has maybe 2 years tops of fighting left but so long as Ukraine limits their withdrawal rate to what we’ve seen of late they will win.
Ooh ooh, now do HARMs
While it has been public since late '22 that special forces from a few NATO countries are in Ukraine for advisory and training purposes, I am not aware of any credible evidence for them participating in front line fighting (unofficial/volunteers don’t count).
