Damn, we recently got a house too. And I bought two large bags of candy.

In the beginning, I didn’t think a lot was gonna come. So dm the first few groups I gave a handful of candy to.

More avd more showed up, and I eventually ran out. Had to tell a bunch of kids we were out, but I couldn’t take it anymore and ran to the store to get two more bags.

Handing tid batch out with a bit more care, but it didn’t matter, we eventually ran out of this too.

This is a very walkable neighborhood though

My main gripe at that point was it was becoming a bit too formulaic, the Dungeons where always technically the same, with 2 X3 pulls, and 3 bosses

Usually you don’t need to shut it all down. But some customers might only pay for a VPS, they don’t pay for redundant nodes in other DCs and so on. So if you have to upgrade a rack switch pair you just kinda have to deal with a few minutes of downtime

Idk, with ai I made a static html site in about an hour today that looks somewhat decent. Just to play around a bit with Cursor / claude.ai. Hosted on cloudflare pages (free). pipeline from GitHub.

That’s what we’re gradually do over here in Norway, new apartment complexes does not even have 1 parking place per apartment, you have to buy one for about 40-60k usd if you want one

There’s no requirements for guest parking either, which can be a pain. But basically everyone who wants to park needs to pay for it.

They also removed free street parking. People are whining that it will kill the towns, because people can’t park in town for free, but not happened yet

Here they usually give you the reminder in cash if you but something for less, say you have a 50 dollar gift card and buy something for 45, you get 5 bucks
