Tldr: It’s just better compression

I used to do the same, but recently I’ve found a dustro and window manager that just work for me. The distro is Fedora atomic, and the window manager is sway.
I pretty much just used a floating window manager like a tiling one, almost always snapping them to 1/2 or 1/3 of the screen. Eventually I tried sway, and after learning some of the shortcuts, it seems like the perfect window manager for someone like me.
Single-player console games being 30fps is not new by any stretch
Yeah I know, that’s why I never really got into console gaming unfortunately. As I said elsewhere, I genuinely have trouble making out objects while looking around in first-person games, if it’s running at 30fps.
Didn’t know about the current gen having performance settings, that’s pretty neat. Might actually consider getting one if I can actually run games at a reasonable framerate on them with a lower quality setting.
After listening through the entire album a few more times, I might have to revise my answer to A Fortress Called Home :D. Damn is this one good album, I fuckin love it.
Almosttown is definitely one of my favourites so far, and also this “live” performance is so damn good:
Yeah that’s what I was wondering as well. I still have one lying around in a drawer somewhere (don’t have an iphone, it’s not mine). Every time I open the drawer it beeps at me, and nowadays my android phone even notifies me of one following me as well.
I’m personally not a huge fan of the ones in the power button, they never worked very reliably in my experience. Even worse than the under-screen ones usually.
I’d love to see phones with a fingerprint sensor on the back though. Granted I have pretty big hands and could easily reach it. Always worked reliably for me, and on my oneplus 5t i could even set actions to swipes on the fingerprint sensor.
Yeah but on PC you usually get graphics settings you can tune to whatever you like. I’d personally rather have a slightly worse looking game running at 60+fps, than a beautiful one at 30.
I’d say 60+fps is especially necessary for first-person games. I seriously have issues making out objects and other things when looking around first-person at 30fps.
The people that keep saying that should really just try to use a 144+hz monitor for a while. Surely they’ll be able to notice the difference as well.
Yeah was about to say the same. Also, do we really have pizza hut here? Never seen one.
Sure the sentence works, but now you’ve lost the distinction between more of an abstract concept and a concrete implementation. It wouldn’t be wrong to call both material and mui a design, but in conversation it can just be useful to have a little more distinction between the two without having to go into the details explaining it.
(also damn i should have chosen a better example than material, their naming is pretty confusing)
(not a designer myself btw)
Isn’t design language mainly used to describe general things about how a design should work?
Take Material for example. Material itself is a design language, telling you how far apart certain click targets should be, how big text should be, stuff like that, to make a generally useable UI. It doesn’t tell you what shape or what colour your button should be, that’s up to the implementation, like Material UI, to decide, which is what I would call the general design.
I believe the experimental option is always there in steam, even if you’ve never used proton up. It just contains experimental features that valve hasn’t put into a regular release yet.
Haven’t heard from them yet, so i guess they’re not gonna reply unfortunately
You might need to install ProtonUp-QT and grab GE-Proton and set the game compatibility mode to “Proton Experimental”
If you’re installing proton ge, you should set compatibility mode to proton ge. Proton experimental is Valve’s experimental version of proton, not GE.
We also have accu in Dutch, but we mostly use that for more integrated rechargeable batteries I think. We use that term for car and phone batteries for example, but not usually for rechargeable AA batteries in your TV remote or whatever.
Well that’s nice of them, now you can easily just change that password which of course you only use for one account.
Yeah just checked cause I didn’t see it either, turns out ublock origin blocks it.
That camera bump, and the stupid glass backs, are the only reason I use a case on my phone. Especially the pixel 6 pro i used to have, was just so slippery it would slide off a slightly crooked wooden table. That actually happened once.
Huh, ik woon hier niet heel ver vandaan en heb er echt helemaal niks van meegekregen
