Does rclone support the cloud service?
Does rclone support the cloud service?
Yeah it seems this is not really meant for self-hosting, it might be better to find another option to use.
Sure:
Proxmox backs up all my VMs/CTs nightly to the proxmox backup server I run as a VM with an external HDD attached to it. This keeps around 30 versions with a retention policy so I can go back pretty far if needed. These are full bootable images and include everything.
Restic (using Backrest to manage it), runs on any VMs/CTs with critical data, and backs up to Backblaze B2 every night as well, this is a more limited choice of the critical files that I’d need. Similar retention policy as the proxmox backup.
With both I try and do some full restores every month or two and test things out.
Sounds like you’re just running the back end, and it’s using the public front end linked to your local back end by default.
If you want to use port 12470 it says that is https so you’d need to type that in instead of http in your browser.
If you wanted to run the whole thing locally, it mentions disabling CORS, and then you’d probably need to set up the web front end: https://github.com/Stremio/stremio-web
I use watchtower to auto update everything.
Anything that needs a specific version for compatibility (Postgres mostly) is pinned to the major release.
Stuff occasionally breaks, but I have backups for that reason (if you don’t, set that up now before anything else, they should be running daily at least and you should have 2 types of backup minimum).
Yes there’s always a chance corruption can happen from a hard power off, always keep reliable backups.
I would go with a managed Nextcloud provider, it’s such a pain to manage self hosting Nextcloud specifically.
Be extra vigilant with your backups though, free stuff always has a higher chance of weird stuff happening, once they just removed my VPS after my trial ended and told me to re-create it.
They could be away and not checking on things until they get back.
Or potentially their github account was taken over somehow.
Cheating, every lobby has several of them and you’ll play for a few minutes only to be teleported somewhere and killed, or run into a guy with god mode turned on.
To be fair running a company you would likely want to focus on the people that give you money, not the group that complains and doesn’t.
Dynamic DNS is free generally, for example if you put your domain on Cloudflare or another DNS host with an API that is supported you can just update the A records automatically on IP change.
There isn’t one.
You can combine several other services though, such as Matrix for chat, Mumble or Teamspeak for voice, and OBS + BroadcastBox for game streaming.
Have you tried wiping the phone and being careful about what apps you install?
The camera specifically says it was accessed by the camera app which seems perfectly normal. The microphone being unknown is odd.
You can’t get notifications while offline, so that sounds more like a bug of some kind in an app you have installed maybe?
If they’re not portable how would I for example login to an account while on my Desktop, if I set up the passkey on my Phone?
Pixel 7a is pretty good. Cheap too now that they’re 2 generations old, around $330 new for an unlocked phone.
I think looking at business/enterprise models would give you the best luck, as some of them should use a PCIe Wifi/BT card so it can be easily upgraded, and you would be able to remove that.
Notebookcheck.net often has images of a teardown in their reviews where you can see if it has a removable wireless card.
Sounds like maybe a faulty battery failing early, it should be under warranty I’d imagine if it has only been a few months?
The battery health indicator could be wrong, does it still run as long as it used to?
It would be good for them to make sure it’s clear that it’s a fork of Firefox and supports addons in their marketing! Right now it’s quite a ways down the home page.
