Looks like I’ve finally found a use for my extensive but mostly out of date meme collection lol. Will try my best to add image descriptions where I can!
Have started my own magazine as to not spam others: @my_mouldy_memes
See @my_mouldy_memes on blahaj for backup
I mean, for you maybe but generally, no, not if you don’t actively fight oppression
Was so sad to hear she announced she’ll be stepping down (though don’t blame her). Fantastic role model.
^when you feel personally attacked but have no valid argument
Ahh the deliberate missing of a point. The clear giveaway of a bad faith waste of space
What makes this any different?
Systemic oppression
Feature, not bug.
but it’s really just wanting government policy which prioritizes the needs of working people.
A literal impossibility as long as capitalism exists
Not sure what happened in image description but can’t edit. Whoops!
I really should have proof read the description (been using an automated service), but can’t edit it now, apologies for the random"shtterstome" in there 😂
So you made a bad joke, I reply with a bad joke, which clearly hit a nerve, and somehow I’m the one who need to lighten up?
Lmfao.
Ok.
No, you
It’s an image description for those using screen readers but if it help smartasses like you too, everybody wins!

“Don’t wear fur” yells the vegan “instead wear fake fur made from plastics that’ll take hundreds of years to decompose into microplastics that harm the living things that ingest it, impacting entire ecosystems, or else you don’t really care about animals” they say.
“If you eat meat you’re speciest” the vegan yells at an Indigenous hunter. “You should be supporting the exploitation and labor of people of color around the world so unique foods can be shipped to you from around the world at low prices instead” they say.
Vegans will literally get mad at an Indigenous person for shooting a deer or killing a seal to feed their family and suggest that if they don’t want THEIR family to stave maybe someone else’s family in South America can so things like quinoa can be easily accessible
Image of post by TheDisabilityEnthusiast: You ever think about how years of institutionalization, segregation & eugenics has contributed to how unfamiliar people are with disability & disabled people?
It’s amazing how in America, 1/4 of the population is disabled, yet people will claim not to know any disabled
people.

I can’t believe I have to keep saying this but
STOP FORGETTING DISABLED PEOPLE in your shitty ass blanket statements. Don’t say “Everyone can do this” or “No one has an excuse”.
Fuck off with that. Stop forgetting us until we remind you that we’re here. We are people. We matter.

If something is accessible on demand only, it’s not accessible
Accessibility isn’t just abt “is it theoretically physically possible for disabled ppl to exist in this space”
It’s also abt “are disabled ppl welcome in this space”, and if I have to go and ask someone to do what’s necessary for me to even enter a space, I’m clearly not welcome
Except the system isn’t failing because it isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as designed.
