I think lady gaga wore this.
I can’t beleive it’s been trademarked.
I don’t understand why they don’t use carbon tax revenues to fund public transit, electric car rebates, and other noticeable benefits. Instead, I pay carbon tax to heat my house, on my fuel and I still have to pay $20 a day in transit.
Instead, it’s a black hole of who knows where it goes. This is the Canadian way of solving problems though. More taxes and no accountability until it bites us in the ass.
I’m just going to edit to add:
Electric cars aren’t great in Canada. Distances are often too far and cold weather really restricts batteries. We will always need some type of fuel.
Same with home heating. Heat pumps don’t work in very cold weather. We will still need to burn fuel.
In both cases we are paying carbon tax when we really have choice of “cleaner” alternatives.
Subnautica maybe.
That is absolutely untrue. Murdering children and celebrating it is terrorism. Hamas is a terrorist organization. These are not freedom fighters.
This is trolling right?
I’m talking about Israel’s response to being attacked by terrorists. Terrorists who use civilians as human shields and have no respect for anyone’s lives. Terrorists who have very clearly stated they will attack Israel again.
Of course Israel is going to defend its people and do everything they can to stop future attacks.
I’m not saying what has happened in the west bank is good. I am saying that it does not justify terrorism.
You and I are not solving this issue.
So the terrorist attack by Hamas was justified in your opinion?
I think this is something a lot of people don’t realize. If Israel showed any weakness after the Hamas terrorist attacks, it is likely Iran, Lebanon, who else knows who, would attack as well.
Israel was put in an impossible situation and did what it had to do to protect itself.
This is spot on.
Where will all of our call centres, IT support desks and accounting departments be outsourced to if we don’t have India as friends?
This is terrifying.
Why do lizards have nipples?
I don’t think you have to be extreme right wing to have legitimate concerns for the future of Canada. The country is literally on fire. Houses are over $1 million and health care is barely functioning.
I’d hate to see the other guys I guess.
Is propane an option? I have a propane generator.
They have been increasing prices. They have also removed basic services and account sharing.
It’s not taxed on net income, but gross revenue. Semantically, it’s a “revenue” tax with the same effect as a sales tax. They collect $100 and get to keep $3. I appreciate the wishful thinking, but it will passed on to customers.
The Canadian solution to every problem is always “more tax”.
Yes you will. All costs are passed down to the consumer. Including taxes.
Thank you. Yes, I agree. I think that’s what I’m feeling right now, too.
I think it just brought back a lot of feelings of when I was younger and the future seemed so optimistic.
