  • The big players in military tech aren’t just the likes of Raytheon and such, it’s also companies like Hyundai, Samsung, Texas Instruments (a little obvious for those who know, but many people are surprised about that calculator company being at the heart of so much military technology). Power plants and transmissions for tanks and such are made by General Electric, Allison, Cummings, etc. General Motors has a military division for small tactical vehicles (think Humvee)

Hell, IBM supplied computers to the Nazi regime that were used to tabulate prisoners at the concentration camps and those machines were used to produce the serial numbers tattooed on them. Most semiconductor research breakthroughs came as a result of military funding.

In household wiring polarity does matter, especially if you are assembling plugs. Only one of the three wires is carrying live current (hot), the other two are the neutral return path, and ground which is for safety. If you accidentally switch polarity, you can cross hot to neutral and cause a short circuit.

  • Psychos aren’t the ‘scream in your face and belittle you’ type of people, it’s the silver-tongued devils that talk about family values and the environment and how their thing helps people, all while making backroom deals and lobbying governments to pass laws in their favour or any other number of shit. Psychos will appear on the surface as the nicest goddamn person you ever met, and you won’t think otherwise until you find the knife in your back.

  • And there’s been efforts to cut that down as well, some places won’t accept a church as a mailing address for official ID, voting, etc.

However, monks/nuns/etc use a monastery as their legal address, and that’s considered legal, so… if Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption were to become registered again, and open monasteries throughout the US, homeless people could then in theory become monks and list their permanent address as the nearest monastery
