Usually your hear, idk, something in the works for projects like this, but i only knew about the existence of this movie less than a week from its debut. Was never going to watch it, but marketing really fucked up because no one i knew it was even filmed.

Reading papers and contacting people in that field. I’ve found that university professors can especially direct you to materials in their field, and even like to chat about it sometimes. Half of my book collection was found this way.

Whenever this conversation pops up, it’s usually in relation to Berlin, to which i have to say

Berlin was not this split point in the middle of the country, it was firmly in Eastern Germany. People attempted to scale the wall to either rejoin family, or escape persecution for crimes. While one side is understandable, the other is because these people would have been under police custody, and likely would not have once if they escaped. Information would leak, and understandbly the East German government would rather that not be the case.

Chapo got banned, checked out chapo.chat, found the “under construction” page with what i think was “call me maybe” as a chiptune playing, and joined a little while after.

Lmao, in Cuba’s case i don’t think i’ve ever been ripped off. Probably the worst was children giving “gifts” that they expected pay for, but i just handed them a 5 dollar bill and let them deal with the next mark.

Writing a police report because the 10 seasons of Friends burnt onto dvds i bought for 2 usd from a street market is missing season 3 and has season 2 copied twice.

The most productive comments i saw that weren’t “yeah, Ukraine is losing” were “i love the pettiness of only using lowercase for russia”. They have nothing.

It’s common, and it’s gross. When i’m out in public, my main concern is where i’m going to eat next, not about strangers.

I love voting. I voted for 5 times in 2016, had a whole ballot box thrown out. I’m not even american, i just do it for the love of the game.
