Absolutely. I have a 2016 Volt and I love it. I’ve gone 4200 miles between fill-ups; I charge at home and only fill up when I go on a long trip or the car decides the gas is too old. I get all the benefits of an EV, all the benefits of a hybrid, and all the benefits of a gas-car. Plug-in hybrids are a better way forward than full EV’s.
Back in the early 2000’s I was working tech support, which gave me admin access to users’ computers over the network. I could pop open their CD drives from my desk; drove one particular user absolutely batty for a day.

We used the #5 position to test smaller engines on GE’s 747 FTB, and also to mount the “icing pod” which carried icing-specific sensors. Fun stuff.
At the same symposium I met Dick Rutan. I was standing in a group and he was across from me wearing his full dress uniform. Out of nowhere he sucks his hand out to me and says “Hi, I’m Dick Rutan, I flew around the world. Maybe you’ve heard of me.” My response was not eloquent.
I was at E3 once talking to Jordan Weisman about MechWarrior 4 when Steven Spielberg walked up. He said, “My kids aren’t going to believe I got to meet you!”, which left Jordan and I stunned. Apparently he and his kids were big 'mech fans.

I love In-N-Out. I could even ignore the bible verses on their packaging since it was pretty hidden. But I haven’t been there since they refused to enforce the mask mandates during the pandemic - if they ignore one health regulation they don’t like, who’s to say they’re not ignoring others? I won’t go there again until there’s some sign that sanity is taking over.
