  • If you’re camping you should have a fire

Not before you get to your destination (and sometimes there, too, if you’re really disorganised), nor in the case of the person I was replying to, who just wants some purse hotdogs to eat on the go. So while I agree about the texture, sometimes you just have to make due with a pale hotdog lol

  • I’ve not got any confirmed links to hand, but I know there are loads of wildlife webcams out there, ranging from cats in shelters waiting to be adopted, to rescued animals in rehabilitation, to birds of prey in their natural habitat, and everything in between.

There are also webcams pointed at volcanos, and others broadcasting from random locations all over the world (weather cams, security cams, and so on), so you can get glimpses in to everyday life.

Vegetarian/vegan hotdogs are great for this, since they can last fine without refrigeration for a decent amount of time. When I was a kid my parents would always pack them when we went camping, take a packet out of the freezer on the way out, pop in one of those soft cooler bags, by lunchtime they’re thawed and good to go, and if you have any left, they’ll still be good for dinner! No cooking should be needed (always double check the packet though), just some condiments, or even a tin of baked beans to make a meal of it.

  • Don’t forget:

Those politicians who are in a position to pass laws with regards to my taxes, income level, and other means of hoarding power? Oh, they’re owned by me thanks to legal bribery.

And those other politicians who want to introduce a maximum wage, higher taxes, or anything remotely socialist? Oh, the media outlet/s I own, along with the politicians I’ve already paid off can easily smear them out of contention.

Both possible because the system is what it does and is designed to encourage these kinds of disparity and inequality, not combat it.

  • It certainly isn’t for everyone, I couldn’t do it either.

And that’s the whole point - we each have things we are and aren’t good at, and if we organise according to our strengths and appreciate we all have different needs which all matter (E: and support each other in those needs), instead of according to one hierarchy or another which inevitably (deliberately) pits us against each other, we could do incredible things.
