I just want them to finish the beta 2D version of Rayman 2. I was so excited when I unlocked the demo for it at the end of Rayman 2, thinking it was a sneak preview for the next game, only be disappointed to learn it was the scrapped initial concept instead…
3D Rayman games are good, but they feel like a completely different series when compared to the bright, colorful world of Rayman 1. The newer 2D ones are closer, but still feel too different.
I think my teacher knew not to do a song with a horn solo; none of us actually bothered to learn the notes to the songs. The concert probably sounded marginally better without me.
In middle school I played the (French) horn, and one time I lost my mouthpiece right before a concert. I spent the entire thing just pretending to play my mouthpieceless instrument.

I dunno how you went about it, but I’ve given some pointers to friends who weren’t having any luck with online dating, and a lot of them were being too passive about it, basing their potential match choices mainly off of “vibes” and sending mostly generic opening messages - the quantity-over-quality approach.
While I was on the site, I spent hours a day going through every single person’s profile - looking it over to really get as best of an understanding of the person as I could - and if I took interest in a few points, I’d send a message personalized to them based on what I saw on their profile. I also made sure that my own profile was well fleshed out, filling every field with well thought out responses, and putting up pictures of me hanging out with friends and doing activities like cooking and going to an amusement park.
Some, though not all, of the people who followed my advice eventually found success through dating sites. If you haven’t tried all this, I’d suggest giving it a shot. If you have, sorry for being presumptuous, and I hope that you find who you’re looking for eventually.
They’re a company - their only purpose is to make money. They don’t hate emulation, they hate not making the absolute maximum amount of money they possibly can. Public use of emulation lowers their profits, while their own use of emulation helps increase their profits. It’s not some weird enigma or hypocrisy - money is the singular driving factor for every company; every action they take traces back to making more money. This is why we need much tighter regulation instead of trusting companies to “be reasonable” or “do the right thing.”
A buddy of mine got his first girlfriend in college after a family friend noticed that his single niece also liked manga and anime and introduced the two. I was very jealous of his attractive, nerdy girlfriend-turned-wife for several years until I finally got on a dating site and found love for myself.
3, but yeah. I’d have them on while I was working since the pacing is pretty easy to follow. Plus I’d read the manga back in the early 2000’s, so I could remember the major plot points well enough without needing to devote my full attention.
This works out perfectly for me. I started watching the anime a few months ago, but I lost steam around halfway through, so this gives me some time to take a break before catching up!
It’s easier to just not give them any other options for so long that they forget it was ever any different.

You absolutely don’t have to have a concrete, well-constructed opinion on everything, or even really anything, but if you plan to spread an opinion you have about something, you should make sure it’s concrete and well-constructed first.
Yeah, people are acting like this is up to chance - rich people throw money at their problems, and so long as someone is willing to spend their time catching it instead of doing their job, it works. It’s going to work. The 5 year sentence is for poor people they want to get rid of, not for rich people they want to profit from.

I put my alarm far enough away that I need to get up to turn it off. By then I’m already out of bed, which is otherwise the hardest part for me by far.
To be fair, if we did raise minimum wage, they’d use it as an excuse to raise prices again. We still need to get higher minimum wage of course, but we also need get much tighter restrictions on corporations, or any financial ground we gain will be lost shortly thereafter under a million excuses to bleed the extra money out of us.
Reporting them for being toxic a dozen times has done jackshit, mods themselves agreeing with everything I’m saying here hasn’t either.
This is more the behavior I was talking about. You can’t force the mods to do anything, all you can do is try, and continue to do so even as it continues to yield no meaningful results. Just like those pointing out the tragedy happening in Gaza understand their incessant posting isn’t likely to change anything besides building solidarity with those who are suffering. But again, when people agree with the message behind a post, they aren’t going to join you in brigading against the person posting it, even if he may be posting it for unscrupulous reasons.
At the end of the day this post didn’t get anyone to vote for Trump, but it got people to think about Gaza just a little bit more, which is a good thing. If you want people to add their voices to yours crying out for OP’s ban, you need to draw attention to it in places where they actually did something people will get upset about.
You can’t change someone else’s behavior, you can only control your own. The results are the ends, but the means are more important.
The fact that I said you need to keep trying even as it doesn’t work clearly flew in one ear and out the other for you.
Nobody was chained with 2 options. The options were chosen and rallied for by representatives picked by the people who actually thought about and participated in local government elections. (I’m dropping the metaphor, since it glosses over the process by which these 2 options came about in the first place)
