So, CNN didn’t actually do any background checking to make sure they were talking to actual undecided group members.
It’s funny that any time he speaks about policies he supposedly supports, we just instantly know that his position is completely vacuous and it’s entirely about how much power and prestige he is given. He doesn’t care about any of the issues, just about himself.
Which makes him a very good match for Trump, I suppose. I wonder if they’ll butt heads because of that.
Do you honestly think Biden or Harris will do much of anything other than the current lip service toward opposing Israel even after Trump loses?
These people are relatives of those the US is actively giving military aid to murder.
It’s hilarious that DeSantis praised her two years ago for her great community work for women and now he’s trying to backpedal with “but I didn’t know she was trans”. He really can’t help with his foot in mouth disease on every front.
I am honored that you’d break your 2 week fast of commenting on anything to comment here.
It’s the same time period that I posted yesterday’s thread. It had 30+ upvotes and multiple comments within half an hour. I did expect this post to get less traction overall, but I wasn’t expecting a combined lack of comments and massive down-voting.
Of course, considering the state of this group at the moment, with a bunch of threads posted trying to criticize any form of protest at the DNC, I suppose it’s rather telling where posters here stand on any form of criticism of this sort, even if minor.
How does the headline seem like any form of assault? It doesn’t even mention an assault. You have to read it to find out what it’s referring to. And it’s quite obvious from the first paragraph that the “worst way possible” is referring to people at the DNC trying to cover up and get rid of any form of opposing views.
Sounds more like you want to obfuscate, for some reason. Those “couple of assholes” should be called out, not glossed over.
So, signs being flexible means attempts to get rid of and cover them don’t matter? And hitting someone with a sign purposefully (two people really, since it also hits the woman next to her) is fine if you’re unable to get leverage to hit harder? They’re just playful taps, I suppose?
I decided to do a test. This is the same news outlet as the article I posted yesterday, that one being critical of Trump. It was massively upvoted, lots of comments and conversation. Great!
Then there’s this one. Similar topic, but not even criticizing Biden or Harris, the first line made that clear. But it’s criticizing people at the DNC that were, as one major example, physically violent toward people holding a “Stop Arming Israel” sign. Horrible stuff, the guy should be arrested for assault.
And, what happens? No comments after half an hour and massively downvoted.
So, yeah, y’all fail the test. You’re blatant hypocrites and it’s sad.
Please, please let them all ship themselves to Siberia.
Goddamn, he’s such a creepy weirdo.
So, criticizing you for raping a child is “bullying” you? I don’t think the claimed rehabilitation happened. He should still be in jail.
Well, that’s good. Though I have some concerns about how well Krafton is as a manager for such things. Also, didn’t a lot of the developers and other people in Tango already quit before this anyways and went to do other things or joined other studios?
But there are distinctions to be made even then in regards to colorants and preservatives, right? Since plenty of both of those are from naturally occurring sources. Like, do you have a problem with Red 4 or Red 26? There’s a ton of others that are just letter numbers too, like E161g or E161e. What’s funny is, even then, a lot of them have disparate approvals around the world, being banned in the EU, but allowed in Australia and New Zealand or vice versa.
I did. I was asking you what you were defining it is, since “artificial” as used in the article is often not artificial, but has natural sources. Or, in some cases, are chemically identical to the natural source and thus has no meaningful biological difference.
I don’t exactly expect news articles to understand anything about organic chemistry or biochemistry.
What exactly are you defining as “artificial stuff”?
They technically have preservative properties because of the hydrogenation, but they really aren’t used for that purpose. You don’t fry things to necessarily preserve them better. It’s for taste/texture, like you said.
Sure, there’s plenty of preservatives we don’t use anymore because there are way healthier alternatives. But there’s also plenty of anti-science people who fearmonger about any and every preservative despite knowing nothing about its chemistry or even any claims of harm.
Did you miss the massive protests going on for years when the US was doing the murdering? A bunch of people got arrested back then for daring to stand up to the US government.
We can always do more. One issue with the Uighur situation is China is doing a good job of preventing any info to get out on what they’re doing. If it was more blatant and obvious on the abuses they were doing, there would be more attention on it (like there was back when we did get some info on their activities originally).
We should push the US government to do more on all those subjects.
So you think it’s a fad for people whose relatives are being actively murdered right now? Do you know how dumb that sounds?
