93·5 months agoWell, with Ukraine being supplied with sufficient, high quality munitions and equipment (and certainly not ancient, mothballed rustbucket tanks), they’ll push the RuZZian orcs out any minute now. That’s right, any minute now, Steiner will advance and push them back to Moscow!
Quantity has a quality all of its own

You see, the first step in any proletarian revolution is to get in the shower, soap up your loofah, and just go to town on your ass crack. Just wash all those accumulated farts and toilet paper bits off.
The hardest part, for me, has always been convincing someone to read State and Revolution. That’s the book that turned me from an anarchist to ML, and I’ve got a couple others with it.

12·8 months agoReiterating the suggestion to take up social hobbies, but also just take up hobbies in general. It gives you interesting things to talk about with other people. For example, I started painting, and talked to other people about it, and now some of them have taken it up and its given us more to talk about and brought us closer together. I find that people like hearing about experiences with hobbies, as its kind of a neutral ground, especially if you’re not an expert in it. It also helps if it’s a visual hobby like painting where I can show people a couple of pictures on my phone as explanation.
6·8 months agoMy biggest issues with it are all the paywalled episodes and the bad audio mixing, especially the early episodes (voice too low, music too high).
Seconding “Take lessons.” Even if it’s just for a while, it helped me a lot learning music as an adult.
