Honestly, games like Undying are exactly the games that need a remaster to fulfill the vision that was clearly there in the original. The first 2/3 are still a marvelous horror game, but the end is so unfulfilling.

It is rare in a fictional work to see somebody truly believe in a religion but not liking (all of) it. In the D&D setting they could choose to believe in another god and then they go into that after life, if they stay true to that new believe, right? It’s an interesting perspective to accept a believe based metaphysical thing as it is, even if you don’t like the whole package (ideals+after life).
And rumors regarding past events need to be rumors far more often! =D

That was my source of confusion: finding out, how stuff works exactly is science. Even if we know the rough principle, the details might reveal some new things.

Here is my try at explaining it in layman terms, but I’m not 100% sure I got the meme completely right. I didn’t do protein crystallography, only organometallics.
Crystallography is the dark magic art of turning nice really small crystals into pictures of molecules (or more precisely: 3D maps of electron density) The scientist in the meme wanted to measure the same protein, but under different pH conditions, so either adding some acid or some base while the crystals form. Then they hopefully get different structures at different pH values and can make a nice video animation like a flipbook to show the change in structure.
And I think the meme makes fun of the fact that the scientist did this experiment with a certain expectation and then that expectation happens but the scientist is surprised by it happening.
They chose a protein which is a reductase, meaning it can reduce the oxidation state of certain molecules. Such a reduction reaction is often dependant on pH value in organism (I think), therefore changing the pH value changes what the protein will do in the crystallization solution.
I mean it’s not really exploiting if that is exactly the reason why preferential voting exists. Or do I misunderstand something?

You need a cool area (around 10°C) to store the sauerkraut, so if you don’t have that, putting it in the fridge is also a possibility. And 99% of the time the container is sealed with a water ring, or mold could start growing. Therefore the smell (what I think you mean is the problem with shared apartment) isn’t there all the time, only when you cook it and open the container… which are the same times as when you use bought sauerkraut.
Mixing in a bit of fresh sauerkraut into the cooked one also helps giving it back a bit of texture.
And you can eat raw sauerkraut, no cooking needed at all. This would give you the most bacteria for your guts.
And I highly recommend making your own sauerkraut. You can spice it to your liking and stored in a cool area it keeps over the whole winter.

In fact, Pyroceram is according to Wikipedia a glass-ceramic.
It is a glass which has a special composition and was heated so much, that it loses some part of its glass character but retains some other. So calling it a glass is not wrong.
Oh, that might explain it then. Strange that the glass blower didn’t know that.
Pyrex is fraud!
I bought two Pyrex bowls and went to a glass blower to get them modified. The first one shattered and the glass blower then looked at both of them under polarized light: they both showed strong signs of internal stress. The glass blower was really angry and accused the producer of cheating, because the color was also a slight green, which meant iron was in there, which should not be the case. According to the glass blower in the professional line Pyrex seems to be worth something, but for normal customer? Not really.
The car bomb is triggered by turning the ignition. The POV is of the unsuspecting victim, so no bomb in view, just the view of turning the ignition.
Thing is: you don’t need to look at it longer than a second to understand what is meant to be conveyed. So no, goal achieved, good use of resources instead of overspending on one useless metric (=making it realistic)
I mean, with resurrection being possible I think divorces would be far less often.
But especially in rich families there would probably be a lot of murdering and resurrecting, just to get out of some forced marriage.
I tried them and in my opinion: trying all three is definitely worth it, to experience their gameplay and see the history. Since it is free, it will not cost you much and if you play as far as you like, you will not lose more than 20 minutes per game.
However I was not good enough to complete the games, so I read the story here and then watched the mandaloregaming videos about the series. And I adore what they did! They pioneered so much in FPS games and the rampancy idea is brilliant, as is Durandal.
It’s not so much nature lovers but social media “content creators” who are criticized here.
There was a case I read of a man caring for a beautiful patch of flowers, but then it got famous on social media and those assholes went there in buses, took pictures lying in there and destroyed it. Heartbreaking to read about that one. Sadly I can’t find that specific case anymore, but there are enough articles about the problem, like this one.
