Religion lost its use. In the past it was useful to form bigger communities by providing rules and a common sense of “what’s right”.
Nower days it’s quite the opposite. Just let it die already.

Even if you follow the rules strictly, confirmation bias can kick in… which is basically “always” because you have to start somewhere and will think a certain way.

For me it was the systematic destructor mods and cheats. Modded GTA5 was awesome, thenbthey removed the script hooks and everything got way too complicated.
There always have been the nick picks. But now sometimes there is barely any connection between the post and the comments. Like two people with multiple strokes distributed between them having an angry teams call.
I would pirate any game without protection if I would have to buy it with protection. Such cracked games, if truly cracked… run better and have no need for cumbersome registrations.
