I’m amused how Neuralink was a highly regarded breakthrough celebrated by the likes of Reddit/Lemmy folks, but once Musk was revealed as an idiot, Neuralink is suddenly “lobotomizing”.

I remember good ol’ times in Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito when workers lived like kings, no more and no less good than their fellow comrades in the Party. And the same can be seen throughout the countries that adopted communism at some point in their history. Common folk always had the lifestyle and privileges same as distinguished Party members. Even if you weren’t member of the Party or were voicing your displeasure with Party’s politics, you would live a long and prosperous life.
