Jesus man, you want to end capitalism but fall for one of its biggest outfits? Also, right now there is just the capitalist reality and within that science tells us, that nuclear is economically not good enough to support the green transformation. I am fine with overthrowing capitalism, but till then we have to somehow manage with a reality that is inseparable from it.

If that is so, why not plaster deserts with solar panels and the oceans with wind turbines. Would go a bit quicker than the 10-20 years it takes to finalise one nuclear power plant. The nuclear hype has no scientific basis.

What was omitted though was that somebody did profit. Private citizens. Companies.

So what I thought is: they’re still around. The ones who did profit and their families and companies. And lately it seems they kinda own us all.

So how about reparations for all the ones who lost out in the gold rush. Who own no land, have no property, no capital. From all nations.

Yeah I know the EU is just as adamant on the free market as the US as long as it doesn’t concern themselves. This statement has been accurate for more than 100 years. They subsidise, the Chinese subsidise, and still Chinese cars sold in Europe are still way more expensive than in China itself. It’s laughable to just blindly repeat all the government lines.

But he insisted the EU would no longer be “naive” about massive government subsidies, though he offered some hope the two sides would find a way out of the row.
