So you’re using Hyprland WM… I’m assuming to have a minimalistic Window Manager… But you want an app launcher.

No offense, but FFS just use a DE at that point. You’re just creating a DE with extra steps. KDE is nice and fairly lightweight.

If you want “Apple-like” look and feel, KDE Neon, Ubuntu, or Pop_OS! are good first Linux distros to start with.

I took the joke as Manjaro is a poor impersonation of a pure Arch install, so it’s half-assed like the users. It’s a meme, though, so don’t take it too seriously.

Also, if you use Manjaro, it’s just a joke and you’re still awesome for being a Linux user.

When Microsoft started enforcing online accounts to use my computer. It was then that I fully jumped ship. I was using Linux way before that for my media server, HTPC, etc., but it was that and the Steam Deck that made me finally fully jump.

Also didn’t help that Clinton was so unlikeable and out-of-touch. Militarily and Economically she fell along Republican lines too often and she wasn’t particularly progressive beyond Socially. Even then it always felt like unless it was Women’s rights she was reluctant to rock the boat.

She was a rich white lady career politician with a cheating former President husband and a hawkish reputation. Don’t get me wrong: I voted for her and think she’d have been a decent president, but Kamala and Tim are FAAAAR better than her and her forgettable VP pick ever were.

By this logic, Windows is like being kicked in the nuts by a Microsoft executive while they keep screaming “This is all because you didn’t adopt Windows Phone”.

Running macOS is like sticking your dick in the toaster and saying “it only costs me $69.99 each time I do it. It’s such a deal I’d be a fool not to”.

I know people are doom and gloom in the comments about “how can this even be a toss up?”, but you have to remember: Trump has been campaigning for this election for the last 4 years. Kamala became the Democratic candidate a little over two weeks ago and already has a several point lead. And things continue to trend in her favor.

Don’t be discouraged. Keep doing what you’re doing. Maybe volunteer for the campaign efforts at your local DNC office. Nothing is going to change without people making it change.

Even when things seem dark and grim and even though it’s hard, stay positive, because sitting in the darkness of pessimism isn’t going to solve the problem.

Because they’re domestic terrorists. If you had someone from Russia, the Middle East, etc. they’d be calling these people terrorists. But since they’re white they’re “white supremacists” or “far-right extremists”.

My Quest 2 has been running VR fine. ALVR’s latest update made me finally nuke my Windows partition I kept for VR.

Other than Angry Birds VR needing to have the recenter button hit after it’s first launched, so far it’s been fine for HL: Alyx, Beat Saber, Budget Cuts, and a few others I’ve tried. Literally the only workaround quirk I’ve found so far.

Sounds like the sysadmin who is running the DNS server’s problem 😉
