I’m a former mormon, and I can tell you that love bombing (from a cultists perspective) is never from ill intent. They are just trying to share “the truth” and they believe that if you adopt “the truth” everything about your life will be made better.

If someone is love bombing you for an organization, first thing to do is investigate that organization. Read the stuff they don’t want you to read. Particularly, don’t pull that information from their media/materials. You should seek out the opinions of ex-members of the organization to get a real feel for what it’s all about.

Kamala has ran to the left of biden on a number of issues. If this were a “billionares fear taxes” situation she wouldn’t have been the replacement. There are some rumors that establishment dems didn’t want Kamala to be the pick because of her policies.

Were it not for Israel, I’d be telling you about how great Biden has been domestically (except the boarder). His administration has by and large been very progressive with the policies it’s enacted. It won’t be hard. Kamala is going to be able to put a bullseye on Trump and republican politics like Biden simply wasn’t ever able to do. She’s going to be able to hyper focus on the deeply unpopular beliefs of the base and it will be hard for Trump or others to really deny it without losing their core supporters.

Further, because she’s relatively unknown there’s really not the same baggage as there was with Hillary. Most people don’t know who she is and I think that really plays to her favor.
