It’s usually wildly off in my experience.

Or, I could just hit download in the play store and sign in. It’s great you can do that. Not everyone wants to go through that effort though.
Nice to see the idea of bringing back place to drive engagement is working.
Ok so if you agree that everything is fucked idk why you’d take issue with my answer being “because everything is fucked.” I already said I’m not a full on anticapitalist so idk what your point in telling me we shouldn’t throw the whole thing out is, I don’t think that in the first place.
Me and you both, it’s been far too long since the last ac game.
*gestures vaguely at everything*
I’m not even full on anticapitalist but come on that’s just obvious.
My argument is crazy unstable people are crazy and unstable and shouldn’t have access to firearms, yours is a lie about guns in interwar Europe. Don’t bother, you aren’t worth orguong with anymore.
You dont know jack shit about guns in Europe during the interwar period, almost the entirety of Europe had stronger gun control laws at the time than the United States has ever had.
So it’s the same bullshit disingenuous argument you people have made for decades without thought.
Idk I know they don’t fit into the usual open source box of Linux but I’d consider Android and ChromeOS as Linux distros, a distro is just a collection of software distributed with the Linux kernel as far as I’m aware. If someone doesn’t consider them “Linux distros” it’s probably due to the proprietary nature of some of the software surrounding the kernel. No idea why kde thinks neon isnt a distro when it literally is.
Edit: in the case of chrome os it’s not even just built around the kernel, it’s based on a distro.
If it’s a mental health problem surely you support making sure those people can’t access guns right? Or is it the same stupid disingenuois argument you people have been regurgitating for decades without thought at this point?
Dude. We have 120 guns per 100 people, the next highest is fucking 62. Nobody else has these problems, fucking nobody.
I don’t really know what I’m doing so I’m currently banging my head against a wall trying to get nextcloud to work alongside a wordpress site both in docker, and this Lemmy is on a linode. I know a lot more about self hosting than I did a month ago that’s for sure, I wonder how long until I start trying to use ssh in my dreams.
I mean you’re just continually proving my point that it’s you who cares what other people use. My appologies I didn’t want to spend $1000 on a vr headset and instead chose to get a more entry level option. The vibe I get talking to you is just…contempt for those you percieve as having less money than you.
Well yeah it’s also more expensive lol, and the quest 2 wasn’t Facebook branded when I got it for cheap, it was better than my og rift. I think I’ve been seeing that valve is doing a new headset, I think I’ll set my sights on that for an upgrade since it’s most likely to support Linux.
I mean I probably won’t since it’s like $3500 but like, ok? You act like I’m telling you not to buy it. I have a quest 2 and had a rift in 2016, I am already on board with vr/ar, you don’t need to convince me. If I had the money I’d have had a hololens in like 2016.
Ok? It looks pretty cool. I’m really not anti apple like you think I am lol. I’d be more concerned about preordering in general than it being apple but I’m not going to berate you for it or anything.
whatever you say dude, I’m glad you like your iphone.
…green bubbles are because apple doesn’t want to move forward with everyone else, they want to have their own walled garden so that people like you say exactly what you just said. their lightning connector is quite literally an outgrowth of usb-c before usb-c was even done, as far as that issue goes its apple trying to go backwards not the rest of the industry. the rest of the industry moved past proprietary charging connectors almost 15 years ago.
Like i dont care if you use an iphone it’s like complaining that you use chrome instead of firefox, its just stupid. So why do you apple people care that I use a samsung?
Because it says 199 right now and I have one comment alone with 150+ and a post with ~135, plus 150 or so more comments most of which are between 5 and 30 and I don’t think any of which are negative. Like 3 days ago it said 500 something. I don’t know the best way to get a correct number, I personally don’t care tbh.
Edit: and please don’t take that as me being dismissive or an asshole, I hope you find a way to properly figure it out. I think I’ve seen folks say it’s in the Lemmy instance database but idk I just have the database running, I wouldn’t know where to start on how to check.
