It is, and it’s stupid. The only real thing they changed this time around is “supine” aiming so you can look 360° while lying down. Overall it’s lower down in the recent cod releases for me. Wouldn’t be bothering with it if it wasn’t free on gamepass.
Treyarch just isn’t as good a developer as the others. The black ops games always seem to lack polish. I’d probably not bother if it wasn’t for free on gamepass, but I’ve been debating dropping gamepass and wouldn’t buy it outright.

I’m confused by this, I didn’t think mw3 was received poorly and playing blops6 I definitely think mw3 was better.
Rayman legends is an amazing platformer and I would argue the music levels in that game far surpass anything in Mario Wonder. It’s legitimately a great series and if you haven’t you should check some of the games out.

Found this documentation, but it’s a bit dense for me given my lack of experience with NixOS.

Not 100% sure becuase I don’t know you’re full environment, but tkinter sometimes requires an additional OS level install. I know Ubuntu requires something like “sudo apt install python3.10-tk”.
Not familiar with NixOS, but saw somethings mentioning “nix-env -i python3-tkinter”, but no idea if that’s a real command.
Definitely worth playing. While short, probably beatable in roughly 5 hours, it’s a lot of fun and makes sure to not overstay it’s welcome.
If you want to feel like a musketeer or classic swashbuckler, this is the game for you!
I read it as meaning they spend 111 hours commuting, otherwise why not just say 222 hours.
I’m actually amazed it isn’t higher. That would imply the average commute is less than 15min each way.
I wouldn’t have an issue with many different communications platforms if they didn’t all require an account (also Discord not being indexable sucks).

Cutscenes and voice acting were janky. The UI felt like it was originally an MMO and feels odd for a single player game. The gameplay loop felt tedious and seemed to disrespect the player’s time.
Maybe I needed to give it more time, but for a game that I thought had generally good/great reviews, it wasn’t clicking for me.
I agree with you about Chanis character. It felt like they butchered her character and motivations to make her more palatable to modern audiences.

I think that’s because in computer science most master/slave nomenclature comes from hardware with a command/control structure (still notable in things like Spark where the namenode/master node controls the data nodes).

I don’t think that’s a fair assessment. Stories in the first 5 seasons mostly had a non-current events focus, but admittedly did make references to both current and past events.
The best episodes are just interesting stories - “Parasite Lost”, “Time Keeps Slippin”, “Hell is Other Robots”.
