In this case, I meant the original 120gb hard drive. That’s the reason why I synced it and left it running with the apple OS. I had to upgrade the battery (bought some cheap ones via aliexpress) and now it works like a charm. The only issue was the first charge, it took the ipod a while to recognise the battery, so having a fire wire cable to feed it the first time should do the trick. Since then, this little grandpa is still rolling for more years, I hope!
Imo, use it until it breaks. The listening to the spinning disc argument got eaten by a faster ssd on another classic that I have, plus having my whole library in it, so I rarely sync new music. I tended to do so too often in the past and I screwed a Ssd by corrupting it somehow. The lesson, better leave things untouched as they work!

Great comment. She effectively communicates in all those languages, which is impressive. Who cares about her pronunciation mistakes or her accent ! Still, your analysis is interesting to understand the roots of Latin languages and how subconsciously we tend to phonetically use our mother tongue phonetics when communicating using other romanic languages and dialects. It happens to me when speaking specially French or Italian that I cannot avoid but using the tonic syllable of my native language. I always say that, even is not a Latin/greek based language, I love how Swedish pronounce their English: in my experience, kind of trying to communicate efficiently and forgetting, as much as neutrally possible, about the accent. (To be said that later on I learnt that most Scandinavians also have a strong accent when speaking English). I guess that the question is if to be considered a proficient speaker of a specific language, do you need to loose all traits of a foreign accent?
AW man, my first choice back in the days was Debian. Seeing now your map made me remember the pain of learning along the way while solving nuclear bomb events and configurations that I had no idea even existed. Still, it was a great experience! Nowadays I just use win 11.

I go to Italy often just to eat real Italian food. I understand that for Italians, the hawainana pizza is an aberration, like many other things if not cooked as they traditionally do. And I respect it, because it’s a key part of their culture. Still, I have a right to eat and like whatever I want, so I also expect respect on that sense. Some people will do this and some others won’t. I think it’s a personal choice to decide respecting others opinions.

Tomatoes are also my first try and currently waiting for a Third round! I also planted Pimiento Habanero, passion fruit, lettuce, basil, coriander, and cannabis being the latter the most difficult one to care for, without a doubt. I have been feeding them home made plant food that I made based on coffee leftovers, ashes, potassium with banana peels and sugar, and some other ingredients that I learnt to use as nutrients. I am very happy with the experience and the result. Still ongoing tbh!

I was also doing that but after a while, I realised that with some good headphone (I use bose 700) the quality is very similar. I dig a little on the internet and some sound experts made a coparision with 320mps and the result was pretty similar. I switched my whole library to that format keeping the really old albums (mostly really old jazz and blues) of flac. I’m not sure if it’s true that the difference is imperceptible, but now I have a ton more space.
