1·6 months agoQualcomm modem which come with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 SoC definitely support VoLTE. Sony is not allowed to change it. Could only disable VoLTE in Android, but there is no reason to do it.
Time issue: is Windows using UTC time? If it is not:
Open regedit in windows
Navigate

RealTimeIsUniversalas nameSet value 1

VoLTE very likely. Do you know if the carrier uses whitelist? Might have a way to check if the IMEI is allowed from carrier.
Need a mainline kernel to support the SoC. Generic ARM distribution only came then. It will take time for RISC-V as well.
