So what’s up everyone? Buhay pa kayo?
Not gonna participate there after what happened recently. We can all agree on that. It isn’t special anymore if they keep doing the same thing yearly
Almost heaven, West Virginia~

Phil Dy gave both Barbie and Oppenheimer 4½ stars on Letterboxd. Now I’m excited to watch both!
Here’s Phil Dy’s review of Barbie on Letterboxd.
Here is a movie that asks what it means to be human, filtering that question through the experiences of a doll living in a fantasy world built on the fantasy ideal represented by Barbie: a world of unrealistically beautiful women who can be anything. More specifically, it asks what it means to be a woman, bursting that fantasy ideal as it shuttles off its main character into our world, and discovers that what she thought she represented didn’t seem to mean a whole lot in a world mired in patriarchy.
Weekend pa ako free but Phil Dy stated that Barbie is one of the most thoughtful films [he has] seen all year.
It’s a possibility, yes, but logistics would be a nightmare if not planned properly (see Philippine Arena). Another factor will be return of investment; you wouldn’t be building such large stadium if the events are too far from between.
Gonna listen to this banging cover of Ulterior Motives while patiently waiting for the original song to be remastered.
