You don’t explain your notion of civilization, but want me to deal with your notion of common sense, justice and civilized behavior. Why?

Because reasonable people with common sense all come to the same conclusion about justice and civilized behavior. Only people with delusions of past glory, racial supremacy and autocracy reach different conclusions. I don’t need to pander those tendencies of yours.

So perhaps you should learn that it’s hypocritical to use Godwin’s law indiscriminately like you do.

I’m hijacking this post to vent. After the Pyrrhic victory in the LS elections, many upper caste BJP supporters have started abuses and personal attacks against Dalits of UP for ‘betraying’ BJP and Hinduism by voting for SP.

For several centuries now and certainly more intensely in the last decade, the Dalits suffered atrociously at the hands of these UCs. Dalit women were gang raped, tortured and murdered by these UCs. Those who dared to complain had their entire families mass murdered by these UCs. Authorities hounded them, destroyed their homes and denied them even basic human rights.

Despite all these, the UCs kept denying the caste atrocities or even the presence of caste privileges. But after losing an election, casteism is suddenly a problem for them! The Dalits are now casteists, anti-Hindu and pro-Muslim! Arrogant hypocrites! You can’t have it both ways. In a way, Holocaust deniers are better than you. They deny only the past. You deny an ongoing mass scale atrocity perpetuated by your kind.

I was born as an upper caste Hindu. But I can no longer suppress my conscience or humanity in the name of the religion and caste I was born in. There is no other religion that uses its beliefs to persecute a section of its own believers like Hinduism does. Screw you! You coopt Dalits as Hindus only when you need to perpetuate violence against regular citizens from other religions. All other times, you treat them worse than animals. Heck! Even cows and monkeys get better treatment from you!

I’m usually an advocate for preserving culture and heritage. But screw it! I want this horrible inhuman culture to rot in hell! And all those who propagated its atrocities for personal gains to suffer the consequences. If there is a God, he/she will make you answer for this!

From what I could gather from UPians of Reddit, the Ayodhya temple stunt backfired. They were already unhappy due to unemployment. This is due to schemes like Agnipath, reduction in UPSC allotments etc. Instead of tackling that, the government went on vanity projects like the temple, airport, express highway etc. BJP never talked about unemployment, starvation, etc even during the rallies. Instead, every single speech was about Muslims, Mughals and mangalsutra.

And to rub it in their face, a lot of locals were displaced or even made homeless in the process of making the temple. The real benefactors of the real estate deals were Gujjus, not the locals. Even the local priests were not spared - they were replaced by Gujju pandits. Making it worse, the ads for the temple featured our supreme leader in a bigger size than lord Ram himself. People realized the true intentions hidden behind the temple construction.

Another factor was the Dalit treatment. BJP was vocally against reservation, while simultaneously increasing caste privileges, discriminations and violence significantly. To increase those worries, there were cases like Hathras, another one a few days back and numerous unreported ones where a Dalit woman/girl was gang raped, tortured and murdered by UCs. Not only did the government help the criminals escape, in most cases, they decimated the entire families of the victims. Crimes against them were reaching genocidal proportions. Dalits have a significant share of UP’s population. Their collective realization that BJP is going to harm them was a significant driver here.

I can understand the hate towards the rich. But saying that the poor is given freebies is a bit condescending. Try living their life - you’ll certainly appreciate the privileges of being middle class. The poor are also not poor because they’re lazy or they live on freebies. Being poor is a vicious cycle. They don’t have the resources to seek out opportunities, in turn denying them resources. That’s why social benefit programs exist - to break that cycle.

Your dictator has taken powers away from the Delhi government using the LG as a puppet. And then when the supreme court intervened, the dictator went and created a legislation to nullify it - they don’t care for even the rule of law. Just plain usurpers.

And you’re saying they did more for Delhi? I don’t know what any government can do without the power they were promised. Whatever the dictator did for Delhi is only for their own gain. Even the RRTS is named after that megalomaniac.

And the irony in calling Kejriwal a populist is supreme. Need I tell how much the center destroyed the communal fabric of the nation by inflaming religious divides, so that they can hide their failures behind hatred? Have you even listened to the speeches given by these leeches?

They (BJP) did a regulatory capture of the ECI. Think of it as foxes taking over the guard duty of the hen house.

We are talking about the guy who silently supported a rapist after international level wrestling champions complained to him. I would be surprised if he didn’t take the side of the rapist in every case he knows. That entire party is extremely misogynistic and toxic.

It’s easy to find faults anywhere. But his government does public service much better than the states ruled by the majority party. Especially given the dictator appointed by the center to block all his powers.

Her tone is right on the point for the lies and the crookedness her publication represents.

What’s really scary is that the voting age students who live so close to the national capital has zero clues about the raging national political controversy. How are they going to decide the nation’s future?

If any students are reading this. These issues aren’t just petty politics beyond your concern. These are matters that will decide your future. Please be aware of them and make informed choices.

BJP’s laundry business going strong.

If you have any grievances against the BJP, avoid approaching the following:

2. The Enforcement Directorate
3. The Delhi High Court

Apologies for missing the names of other agencies involved. There are too many to count.

None of these articles support the assertion that this is a government vehicle. It could be a counterfeit with the HPC emblem and livery painted on to fool people and the police. Why else would an oil tanker have an opening on its side?

In addition, there is no proof of involvement of any government official or minister. Even if there is, it only indicates corruption, not an official sanction. The police wouldn’t even be allowed to intercept the vehicle if there was such an official sanction.

I’m against the politics that the BJP represents. But we shouldn’t be fighting them with misinformation. It will get easily debunked. And it will just convince the public that the BJP opponents are engaging in a misinformation campaign.

I would like my taxes to be spent on public schools and healthcare rather than on vanity projects and neta’s unofficial retirement funds.

In that context, it’s interesting to reexamine Infosys Narayanamurthy’s call to youngsters for 70 hour work weeks in order to strengthen India’s economy. We all know that it’s just gaslighting young workers in order to make themselves richer.

But how exactly do we strengthen India’s economy? The only way to do that is to inject more cash flow into the economy - especially the informal economy. And the way to do that is pay workers a decent salary. In other words, onus is on people like NM to pay their employees a fair wage to prop up the economy. But do they ever talk about a pay rise?

Moral of the story is, don’t listen to people whose income or jobs depend on exploiting young workers (that includes stock exchange chief). And be especially wary of rich scoundrels talking about your responsibility to the nation.

They wouldn’t so rich if they practiced what they preach. And remember, a rich nation isn’t a nation of a few rich people. It’s one where there’s more equitable distribution of wealth.

People starving so that Gods can have their palaces! What a deplorable downfall of society’s priorities. Religion is truly a cancer.
