Almost all of the replies I see there are from the Left. It’s ironic considering the topic of the video, and considering Musk’s impact on twitter. I’d go spend the next four hours balancing out the responses if I had the time and energy for it. I find it exhausting. The vast majority of normal American adults are sick of woke politics, but the internet sure does amplify the volume of vocal minorities. #RD24!

You’ll surely get different definitions if you ask different people, but I think that’s okay, more or less. Because in general, Americans are sick of it, and DeSantis stands against it.

The precise definition is similarly unimportant with any divisive topic. That’s an inadequate standard for academic research, but we’re talking about voting for politicians here. It’s okay to accept ambiguity.

Woke is shorthand for the neo-marxist program to destroy western civilization. It pretends people are group-members instead of individuals. While classical Marxism did the same thing, grouping people into the proletariat and the bourgeoisie, neo-marxism divides people into various identity groups, mostly involving acts of disgustingly perverted sexual immorality, superficial skin color, and religious affiliation. Traditional American values are discarded by the woke worldview. Just as classical Marxism claimed that normal well-adjusted people who’d been successful at earning their own living were somehow “bad”, woke neo-marxism claims that any normal person is bad. That means its practitioners openly discriminate against conservative white Christian men, especially if they practice heterosexual behavior in a traditional marriage. Woke manifests as DEI, BLM, and ESG. It involves indoctrinating children to believe God makes mistakes, and that kids should dismiss God and follow Satan to whatever pleasures of the flesh and disgusting perversions of morality they can imagine. Some of the current woke activities most celebrated by its practitioners include genital mutilation of children without their parents knowledge and slaughtering innocent human beings before birth. The woke eschew traditional families, traditional behavior, and traditional values. They are steadily working to dismantle western civilization, aka Christendom. Basically it’s Satan’s work in advance of the Rapture, and it’s well documented in quite a bit of detail in end-times scripture. I hope that satisfactorily answers your questions.

It’s a bit all over the place, but it’s at least something.

How do you know that this is accurate?

How does anyone know anything is accurate? It’s my personal attempt to summarize a huge topic based on my personal experience. YMMV.

Evidence is nothing more than someone’s best assessment of their sensory data. Truth comes from God, and we know that from faith, which is stronger than any evidence based belief. All in all, we speak what we believe to be true, and it’s not a great use of your time to question that.

I think one thing he is trying to communicate to Republican primary voters is that Trump cannot possible win the general election in 2024, so it is time to move on.
